Alyse was invited to perforn the national anthem at the annual memorial weekend program, in Rockingham, NC, which honors those heroes who died serving our country. She has had the privilege to perform the national anthem at this event for two previous years.

We have not posted any current news on Alyse for some time now, but she is still touring strongly and performing on a regular basis. We have been keeping tour dates current so that everyone can see where she will be performing. Alyse is also planning a new album that we hope will be completed by this year's end. Recording new material has become a top priority now considering the demand expressed by her fans. We will keep you up to date on any activity related to the album's completion.

Recording of Alyse's second album, tentatively entitled "My Heart's Cry", was completed at Hilltop Studios in association with Daywind, Inc. This album includes many currently popular Christian radio hits such as "Our Hope Indures", "God With Us", and "Slow Fade." We will post the release date of this new album soon. Alyse was honored to perform the national anthem during the opening ceremonies for the Cherry Bomb 200 race at the Rockingham Speedway in Rockingham, NC.

Alyse participated in this years' Singing In The Foothills Talent Competition in Wilkesboro, NC. She sang "Orphans Of God" and was on stage with many talented Christian artists who were performing in three categories: Adult, Youth, and Group. Alyse was blessed to win 1st place in the Youth category and was also the overall winner of all three categories. This allowed her a cash prize to apply to her ministry, 10 free Daywind soundtracks to use for performing, and 6 hours of free recording time at Daywind studios in Nashville, TN. As the overall winner, she was allowed to sing her song on stage at the Singing In The Foothills event on Saturday night where the featured artist were performing.

Alyse had the privilege to perform at the National Day Of Prayer event at Richmond Senior High School. Those attending were treated to her performances of the national anthem and many other songs that she sings. Some of the songs she performed included Orphans Of God, I Can Pray, Precious Blood, and In Better Hands.

Alyse has completed recording her first album which will soon be released early this year. This first effort by Alyse will feature a blend of contemporary and traditional Gospel songs. She is currently performing many of the selections on this disc in her live show.

Alyse had the privilege to perform with the Dove Brothers as a special guest on their hit song "I Can Pray" during a concert at Beverly Hills Baptist Church in Rockingham, NC. This was a special treet for Alyse as she has been performing this song regularly at most of her concerts and it will appear as one of the tracks on her first album.
